Producer Shocked by ‘Outrageous’ Halle Berry

Halle BerryHalle Berry shocked producer Peter Farrelly when she agreed to stick her breast into a bowl of guacamole for a scene in her new film Movie 43. While Peter was initially worried the 46-year-old actress would think her scenes in the movie were too "outrageous," he was surprised when Halle thought what he had planned was "too soft" and asked to make them even more controversial.

In an interview on website Reddit, he explained, "I would have to say Halle Berry surprised me the most. I was a little nervous about meeting her because her scene is so outrageous, and I was afraid she might get on the set and balk. Not only did she not, but she thought the scene was too soft and asked us to amp it up a little. We ended up coming up with a couple of things for her to do that weren't scripted but were insane,. To give you an example, [her scene] is about a couple, her and Stephen Merchant, who play Truth or Dare on a first date. Among other things, she ended up sticking her bare breast into a bowl of guacamole. She couldn't have been more fun to work with."

However, the actual breasts shown are screen were fake with an insider telling E! News, "They're so huge. You can totally tell they're fake."

Dumb and Dumber 2 to Shoot This Year

Dumb and DumberA Dumb and Dumber sequel will start shooting in September.

Peter Farrelly - who directed the first instalment of the comedy film in 1994 - has confirmed Jeff Daniels and Jim Carrey are on board to create the follow-up, which will not be similar to Dumb and Dumberer, a 2003 prequel in which neither of them starred.

"We're getting set to shoot Dumb and Dumber 2 in September. It's the first sequel we've ever done and we've got Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels back. We did not do Dumb and Dumberer. That was a studio thing. So we've always wanted to do a sequel and finally Jim called up. Jeff always wanted to do it. We always wanted to do it. Jim was busy, but he called and said, 'We've got to do this thing again,'" Peter said.

No story is yet known for the picture. The first film told the tale of two idiotic friends - Lloyd Christmas and Harry Dunne - and their mis-adventures on a road trip around the country. It took $247 million at the international box office.

Three Stooges Movie Ready to Film, Though No Cast Yet

The Three Stooges - movie not cast

Bobby and Peter Farrelly, ready to direct? Check. A funny script that pays homage to the movie’s theme, The Three Stooges? Check. A shooting location? Check. The only thing the new movie doesn’t have is a cast -- which is something of a problem, since filming is scheduled to begin at the end of April.

Yikes. “We just haven’t made a choice,” explained Peter Farrelly, one-half of the filmmaking brother duo. “But, we will in the coming weeks.” Let’s hope so.

The Three Stooges film is a much-anticipated project that once had some of the biggest of big names attached to it. Sean Penn, Benicio Del Toro and Jim Carrey were going to become Larry, Moe and Curly (in that order), but both Penn and Carrey ditched the project early on.

Three Stooges Loses Sean Penn

Sean Penn, Jim Carrey and Benicio Del Toro

Jim Carrey might have been willing to gain 50 pounds to play Curly Howard, but his film has lost an entire body. Sean Penn, who was scheduled to play Larry Fine in the Three Stooges, has just dropped out of the project.

The Farrelly brothers film would have joined the two-time Oscar winner with Carrey and Benicio Del Toro. (The Che star was picked to star as Moe Howard.) Unfortunately, Sean has reportedly decided to put family before work. (His rocky relationship with Robin Wright Penn is currently back on.) That choice means giving up a role in Cartel as well.

It’s not known at this point what Sean’s leave will mean for the long-awaited comedy. Stooges was slated to begin production sometime in August. If the studio opts to wait for his return, the film could be delayed for another year.

Three Stooges May Unite Penn, Carrey and Del Toro

Sean PennSean Penn has just lined up his next project, and it has nothing to do with Lindsay Lohan. The 48-year-old actor has just attached himself to a picture from the Farrelly brothers (There’s Something About Mary).

Sean, who recently won his second Oscar for his portrayal of Harvey Milk, will now take on the role of Larry (Fine) in MGM’s The Three Stooges. , who is still in negotations for the part of Curly (Howard), will reportedly gain up to 40 pounds for the movie. Meanwhile, Benicio Del Toro is being courted to play Moe (Howard).

Unlike Milk, this film will not be considered a biopic. “It takes place in present day, and they look, dress and sound exactly like the Stooges,” Peter Farrelly clarified.

Although it was originally November 2009 release, production is not expected to begin until later this fall.
