Amanda Seyfried Felt Uncomfortable With the Kiss

Amanda Seyfriend and Megan Fox go in for the kiss in Jennifer's Body

Amanda Seyfried said it was “uncomfortable” kissing Megan Fox. Hrm, that’s just about the complete opposite of what Megan felt when asked about it.

The 23-year-old actress locks lips with the Hollywood beauty for their new horror film Jennifer’s Body, but insists that it was an awkward scene to film because she knows it will “turn on” the audience.

Box Office Breakdown: Chance of Meatballs is Winning Recipe

Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs

While it may not have had a Damon, an Aniston or a Fox, had something no other film did this weekend: a win. The animated adaptation raked in $30.3 million over the weekend easily pushing it to the top of the charts. The PG-rated entry towered over the box office and nearly tripled its nearest competitor (The Informant). The 3-D film also gave Sony Pictures Animation its biggest debut to date.

Elsewhere, two Hollywood beauties were struggling to make a respectable showing. Despite (or because of) a number of notable quotes, Megan Fox failed to muster any interest in her first starring vehicle. Jennifer’s Body, a horror film penned by Diablo Cody, raised a whopping $6.9 million for a fifth-place finish. (I’m not even sure that would be enough to fund one day of a Transformers production.) Megan Fox might not be a fan of Michael Bay, but she better be grateful she met him.

Comic Paper Bags Megan Fox in Interview

Showing off her comedic side, Megan Fox playfully puts a paper bag over her head, as ordered by interviewer and comedian Matt Zaller when trying to promote Jennifer’s Body.

In the clip, Zaller ignores Fox as he interviews her co-star Johnny Simmons about everything else but the film, leading him to ask her to put the bag over her head because she’s just too distracting.

It’s just too bad that Fox’s funny bone (nor the rest of her appealing assets) wasn’t enough to push the film to the top of the box office—Jennifer’s Body came in fifth place, raking in $6.8 million.

Megan Fox Outdone By Effects

Megan Fox says that special effects got in the way of her skillsIn another interesting Megan Fox quote, the actress says that Transformers doesn’t show off her acting skills.

The starlet admits that she feels “pressured” to prove herself because she feels upstaged by the special effects used in the franchise.

“I have no idea about my future career. I just hope that I can still be working in 10 years. When you’re in something as successful as Transformers, you can’t use it as a sales piece for your ability as an actress because it’s all about the special effects. So you do sort of feel pressure to try and prove yourself. I have no idea what I’m capable of. I’m sort of finding that out now and testing my boundaries. I’m blessed with the opportunities that people are giving me—ones that I don’t maybe even deserve. But I’m not complaining.”

Megan can next be seen showing her talents in Jennifer’s Body, in which she plays a cheerleader out for revenge after she is killed in a satanic ritual, and says that she had to be “humiliated” to give a good performance: “I’m basically being stabbed to death by this evil rocker played by Adam Brody. I didn’t want to bulls**t my way through it because I would have been really embarrassed, so I had to allow myself to be humiliated and toyed with.”

Lone Transformers Crew Member Defends Megan Fox

Shortly after a trio of anonymous Transformers workers blasted Megan over her comments made about director Michael Bay, a lone production assistant named Anthony Steinhart has thrown his hat into the fiery ring.

Considering that IMDB exists, it isn’t hard to figure out who the anonymous Megan-haters are—Steinhart just wants to clear his name for the record.

Transformers Crew Fires Back at Classless Megan Fox

Megan Fox and Michael Bay

UPDATE: Transformers production assistant defends Megan Fox in a new letter.

might not think highly of Michael Bay, but there are several who don’t exactly care for her either.

Earlier this month, the Transformers actress stirred up controversy when comments she made about Bay spread across the internet. In an interview with Wonderland magazine, Fox compared the director to Napoleon and said the “awkward” hit maker was “a nightmare to work for.”

Now other (anonymous) crew members are speaking out about the “unbearable” hours spent watching “Ms. Sourpants” trying to act on set. You can read a scathing letter (which was once posted on Michael’s own website) in full after the jump. A personal note from Bay will also follow.

Quote of the Day: Megan Fox on Nightmarish Michael Bay

Michael Bay and Megan Fox

“God, I really wish I could go loose on this one. He’s like Napoleon and he wants to create this insane, infamous mad-man reputation. He wants to be like Hitler on his sets, and he is. So he’s a nightmare to work for but when you get him away from set, and he’s not in director mode, I kind of really enjoy his personality because he’s so awkward, so hopelessly awkward. He has no social skills at all. And it’s endearing to watch him. He’s vulnerable and fragile in real life and then on set he’s a tyrant. Shia and I almost die when we make a Transformers movie. He has you do some really insane things that insurance would never let you do.”

No Catwoman Role for Megan Fox

Halle Berry as CatwomanYes, yes - we all know that is gorgeous and has an amazing body. But must she really be associated with every single female action role out there?

So far the Transformers star has already denied becoming the next Lara Croft (‘cause she’s like so not Angelina Jolie). She’s also squashed rumors about a possible James Bond appearance. Now she’s supposedly in talks to take over a feline role.

According to The Sun, Fox will be following in both Michelle Pfeiffer and Halle Berry’s footprints as the new Catwoman. The character would reportedly be included in the next Batman film. There’s just one problem: that casting announcement is - surprise! - complete bogus.

“It’s rumor. It’s not true,” a studio rep told People. “There is no script. There is no project to be cast in.”

So now that we’ve cleared that up, what else can we get Megan to deny while we’re at it? That she’ll be the next Wonder Woman? She’s landed the role of ? She’s going to replace Charlize Theron in the Hancock sequel?

Megan Fox Speaks Out

The fact that Jennifer’s Body stars Megan Fox guarantees a good million or so guys who will be rushing to theaters this September to catch the Diablo Cody-written horror-comedy. With that said, this faux public service announcement is quite unnecessary; however, it is mildly amusing.
