Tomb Raider Kim Kardashian

Kim Kardashian is being lined up to play Lara Croft.

The star is reportedly top of the producers’ list to portray the adventuring archaeologist in a new Tomb Raider movie.

“Kim is wanted to play a far more comic-strip version of Lara, which would be shot in 3-D and aimed at a teen audience,” a source revealed. Kim currently has limited acting experience - only starring in TV show Beyond the Break and CSI:NY.

Angelina Jolie - who played the videogame star in two movies, 2001’s Lara Croft: Tomb Raider and sequel Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life - is also said to be in consideration for the movie, along with Transformers beauty .

Another reality star has thrown her name into the running: The Hills star Heidi Montag previously expressed her desire to portray Lara Croft on the big screen: “I want to be blonde tomb raider, I’m better with guns than both Angelina and Megan Fox put together!”

Megan Fox Not a Part of Transformers 3

Shia LaBeouf, Megan Fox and Michael Bay

UPDATE: Megan Fox is now claiming that she chose not to come back to the franchise.

It looks like a little bad-mouthing can go a long way.

Megan Fox may have compared Michael Bay to Hitler well over a year ago (and even made a “genuine” apology last fall), but it appears the sting from her comments has not yet subsided.

Although it was believed the dark-haired beauty would return to Transformers 3, it’s just been announced that the role of Mikaela Banes has been cut. Sources say the search for a new love interest for Sam Witwicky (Shia LaBeouf) has now begun.

Megan Fox Oblivious to Staring Men

Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Celebrity Gossip,

DescriptionIf Megan Fox had it her way, she’d have us believing she hates the Angelina Jolie comparisons. She’d also make us think she’s unaware of all her admirers.

The Transformers star - who is regularly voted among the world’s sexiest actresses - claims she leads too much of a quiet life with on/off boyfriend to notice other people’s responses to her appearance.

“I don’t really experience it because I’ve been in the same relationships forever,” she said. “I stay at home most of the time, but I guess I’m not complaining. Nobody in their right mind would complain. It’s great.”

Megan - who has dated the actor since they met on the set of US TV show Hope and Faith in 2004 - has often claimed to be insecure about how she looks, and hit out at good-looking celebrities who use their beauty as a “mask.”

“I’ve met endless so-called beautiful people who don’t seem to have personalities or a direction in life,” Fox stated. “They’ve never been forced to develop their characters because they’re viewed as being so attractive. So I think beauty can be a mask.”

Megan Fox Gets Emotional Over Transformers

Quelling the rumors once and for all, Transformers actress Megan Fox accepted her Spike TV Scream Award for Best Sci-Fi Actress this past weekend with a heartfelt speech.

In her speech, she indirectly refers to the anonymous Transformers crew members who wrote a very anti-Ms. Fox letter, which circulated the internet so fast that it prompted even director Michael Bay to speak out about it.

Calling herself “a very ordinary part of an extraordinary film,” it almost seems like she comes close to tears at one point. Truly grateful, or does she have me fooled with her acting abilities?

Charlize Theron Purring Over Catwoman Role

Charlize Theron as Catwoman?Considering that Megan Fox can be counted out, Charlize Theron is now proclaiming how she’d love to “kick a*s” as Catwoman.

The Hollywood actress is thrilled to learn that she is in the running to play the super-villain alongside Christian Bale and Sir Michael Caine in the upcoming sequel to Batman blockbuster The Dark Knight.

“It’s news to me, but that’s kick-a*s news. I like that… I think that what has happened to that franchise is amazing, and director Chris Nolan is a genius. So I would be an idiot to not consider that.”

If the 34-year-old starlet accepts the role, she will be following in the footsteps of Michelle Pfeiffer and Halle Berry, who have both donned the iconic leather catsuit on the big screen.

Other actresses linked to the role include Angelina Jolie and Rachel Weisz.
