Michael Bay Casts Megan Fox in ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ Film

Michael Bay and Megan FoxEven Hollywood folks can forgive.

Despite the flagrant comments Megan Fox made about Michael Back back in 2009 - comments which cost her a role in the third Transformers installment - the director has announced that she will be cast in his upcoming remake of the eighties comic book and animated series Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

"TMNT: we are bringing Megan Fox back into the family!" he wrote on his website.

The plot of the film - to which some fans have already objected - involves a group of aliens who invade Earth and inadvertently spawn four mutant ninja turtles who then fight them to defend the planet.

This will be Fox's first feature film since giving birth back in October.

Megan Fox Won’t Show Skin in Future Roles

Posted by Robin Paulson Categories: Celebrity Gossip,

Megan FoxPractically akin to Channing Tatum quitting acting for a year, Megan Fox has recently revealed that she won't strip down for a film role in the future - all because of her son.

The 26 year-old - known for her characters' sexy clothing and/or barely there styles - gave birth to her son Noah in late September. She opened up about how she takes great consideration into which roles she chooses now that she is a mother:

"It changes your perspective about being overly sexual in a film when you have a baby. I'm going to be more cautious about choosing films because I'm already thinking about when he's in school and his friends are going to be showing him my photo shoots with me in a bikini and he's going to be horrified. So that will deter me from making some of the choices I made before."

Megan will next appear in Judd Apatow's This is 40 - set for a December 21 release - which will most likely be the last role where we see the actress in lingerie!

Megan Fox, John C Reilly to Have Dictator Cameos

Sacha Baron Cohen filming The DictatorBoth Megan Fox and John C. Reilly are set to appear in The Dictator.

The pair have signed up to make cameo appearances in Sacha Baron Cohen's forthcoming comedy, though the nature of their roles is being kept under wraps.

The film - which is currently being shot in New York - chronicles the story of a Middle Eastern despot who is removed from his position and flees to the US after he is replaced by a lookalike former goat herder, with both roles being played by Sacha. Sir Ben Kingsley, Jason Mantzoukas and Anna Faris are already signed up to appear in the film, which is being directed by Larry Charles.

Last week, footage emerged of Sacha - in character for the movie - being apprehended by a waiter as he stole food from a diner at New York restaurant Orsay. The comic, wearing a pink t-shirt and denim shorts, fled with a plate of food and a glass of wine, but was chased by the server and tackled to the ground. Later in the evening, he was seen in the same outfit outside a restaurant which doubles as the one his character owns in the film.

Coming in second was , starring Adam Sandler, Kevin James, Chris Rock, David Spade and Rob Schneider. The comedy, which could have probably placed first on any other weekend, earned $40.5 million - the fourth best open in Sandler’s career. (The Longest Yard‘s $47.6 million from 2005 is still his best.) The movie also surpassed James’ last big hit, Paul Blart: Mall Cop, which premiered to $31.8 million in 2009.

Meanwhile, Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz found a box office win to be mission impossible. only fired up a mediocre $20.1 million ($27.4 million since Wednesday) and a third place finish. Keep in mind: Vanilla Sky, their last film together, debuted to $25 million back in 2001 - and that wasn’t even an action film.

Quote of the Day: Megan Fox is a Lord of the Rings Nerd

Megan Fox with Lord of the Rings actress Cate Blanchett

“I’m a Lord of the Rings fan. And I’ll go on the forums. And they’ll complain that Frodo is eating the Lembas bread outside of Mordor instead of in the Mines of Moria. And they get really mad. You cannot focus completely on pleasing them because you’ll never win. They’ll never be happy no matter what you do… and company won like 30 something Oscars for those movies.”

Jonah Hex actress reveals more about her nerdy habits.

Box Office Breakdown: Toy Story Still Has Game

Toy Story 3

The number “11” appears to be a good one for .

Although it’s been almost 11 years since we had fun with Woody and Buzz Lightyear, those classic characters were apparently anything but forgotten. This weekend’s long-anticipated debut of rang up $110 million, giving Pixar its 11th chart topper in a row. The sequel also surpassed all previous Pixar debuts (including The Incredibles’ $70.5 million from 2004) and became the second best animated opener of all time (right behind Shrek the Third‘s $121.6 million from 2007).

, on the other hand, was unfortunately cursed from the start. The comic book adaptation - starring Josh Brolin and Megan Fox - fired up a underwhelming $5.4 million. That performance was even more dismal than the debut of Megan Fox’s last film, Jennifer’s Body, which opened to $6.9 million in September 2009.

Megan Fox Shot Jonah Hex in 5 Days

Megan Fox on Jonah Hex setAction starlet shot her scenes for Jonah Hex in five days.

The 24-year-old star - who plays love interest Lilah in the western movie - only spent five days on the set of the film and confesses it was one of the hardest she has worked on.

“It’s the toughest movie I’ve ever done. The stunts and the make-up… a lot of pain… f**king horrible. I don’t know if I’d do it again. I only worked on this for five days in Louisiana. And we would shoot all day. So we worked really hard for those five days, and then they wrapped me.”

However, the screen beauty did admit she has worked on more “difficult” projects in the past: “It was an intense process, to cram all of that into such a short amount of time. It was difficult. It’s not the most difficult thing I’ve done or survived.”

Megan recently confessed she had problems on the set of the movie as her small hands prevented her from being able to hold a gun correctly. “Actually there was one gunfight scene that the stunt team had been choreographing for, I think, a couple of weeks, and I showed up and I had a minute to get it down and rehearse it and it was really difficult for me to shoot the old-style gunslinger guns because I have tiny little baby hands. The guns are really large and really heavy, so just the physicality of actually having to pull that off was really difficult. This was more action-heavy for me.”
