Lindsay Lohan may be the next to pose nude for Playboy.
The Georgia Rules actress is reportedly considering an offer of $900,000 to bare all for the adult publication, after initially rejecting a previous offer of $500,000 from the magazine.
“Playboy has been asking her for years, but it’s only now she’s excited about doing it,” a source told Australia’s The Day newspaper.

Lindsay Lohan Replaces Katie Holmes

No, Linds isn’t hooking up with Tom Cruise…but she is stepping into the movie role recently vacated by his wife. Lohan will take on the female lead in The Other Side, a role which received heavy input from Katie Holmes, who was all set to take on the project.
David Michaels, who will direct the film, said he and Holmes shared many ideas and discussions while Cruise worked on Valkyrie. Funding for the flick fell off for a while, however, and finally Holmes had to bow out of the project. She went on to Broadway and All My Sons.
This left the door open for Lindsay Lohan, whom I guess got the role because of her very wide availability (it’s been a while since Linds had any film work). She’ll join a cast that includes Jason Lee, Alanis Morissette, Dave Matthews, Woody Harrelson and Giovanni Ribisi.

Seth Rogen Denies Getting Call From Lohan

If Lindsay Lohan really wanted to get a job, maybe she should actually start making phone calls rather than just talking about them.
In the current issue of Nylon magazine, the Razzie winner claimed she was hoping to get her career back on track with the help of two A-listers. “I’m talking to [lots of people]. One is Sean Penn – I spoke to him again the other day. We’re trying to get Seth Rogen for this project, but Seth won’t call us back. So call us back, Seth, if you’re reading this!,” Lohan pleaded.
Funny thing is - Rogen had absolutely no idea what she was talking about.
When asked by Moviefone why he won’t return Lindsay’s calls, the Observe and Report star he hasn’t even been contacted. “That is not ... That’s the first I had heard of that. And my assistant hadn’t heard it either. I can tell you that she hasn’t called me. If she has, I haven’t heard about it. [But] I would call her back, sure! I’d return a call.”
Maybe Lindsay’s right. If we would just all leave her alone, she could figure out how to get her stories straight.

What do Sean Penn, Lindsay Lohan and Seth Rogen have in common? According to the unemployed name in this group, they could be starring in a movie together.
In the April issue of Nylon magazine, the 22-year-old tabloid fixture expressed a concern many people are now sharing: a lack of work. “It’s scary when you realize, ‘Oh my God, I’m not working. And I have a house to pay for now.’” (When exactly did you realize that, honey—before or after you went to the club?)
And though she admits being turned down for Tim Burton’s adaptation of Alice in Wonderland, Lindsay claims she still has other possible projects out there.

Will Lindsay Lohan Be Moving to Elm Street?

Is Lindsay Lohan setting herself up to be the next scream queen?
According to Just Jared, the 22-year-old will be following up her Razzie Award-winning performance in I Know Who Killed Me with another horror film. Lohan has just agreed to star in the remake of A Nightmare on Elm Street.
“We were lucky to receive a call from Jason Weinberg, Lindsay’s manager,” producer Andrew Form told JustJared.com. “He called us to tell us that Lindsay was very interested in the film and wanted to be a part of it. We called Jason back after Wesley Strick finished the script and asked if Lindsay wanted to look at the first draft. She looked it over and loved it. She thought this was the perfect vehicle for her.”

See Lindsay Lohan’s Return in Labor Pains Trailer

Lindsay Lohan - whose last two films were the barely seen Chapter 27 and the Razzie-winner I Know Who Killed Me - is scheduled to make her big screen return next year in Labor Pains.
In the comedy, Lohan plays a publishing house assistant who feigns pregnancy to avoid being fired. Cheryl Hines, Chris Parnell, Janeane Garofalo and American Idol‘s Kevin Covais co-star.
Labor Pains is set to be released sometime in 2009. Until then, Lindsay Lohan will be getting some small screen time during her five-episode arc on Ugly Betty.
Lindsay Lohan Loses Manson Project

Last month, we told you Lindsay Lohan was scheduled to appear in Manson Girls, a movie about Charles Manson’s followers. Now we’re learning Lohan has already been replaced in that film and another one as well.
The story behind Lindsay’s exit from Manson varies depending on the source. One site claims a refill was necessary because the producers were unable to find actresses willing to star with her. The star’s rep, though, blames ‘scheduling conflicts’ for the casting change.
Meanwhile, the reason for Lohan’s departure from another project is not quite clear. She was at one point slated to appear with Jack Black in a romantic comedy. Now the project is moving on with another actress. According to someone connected to Ye Old Times, “We have just decided to go our separate ways. We currently have an offer out to another actor.”
Well, I guess Lindsay should be happy she has her work on Ugly Betty to fall back on…

Lindsay Lohan is getting back into the acting swing. Not only has the young performer snagged a coveted role in Manson Girls, but she’s now signed on to do a new, more low-budget film role.
The former Disney child star will play a nymphomaniac waitress in the upcoming Florence. The producers asked Lohan to perform a topless sex scene in the flick, an offer Lindsay quickly countered. Not only will she go topless, she’ll do it one better - full frontal. And though Linds won’t get paid much for baring it all so publicly, one insider says she’s ready to prove herself as a “mature actress.”

Box Office Breakdown: 21 Cashes In

Apparently it takes a movie about gambling to finally bring down a family-friendly film.
This past weekend, 21 won big at the tables and brought in over $24 million dollars. The movie - the third Kate Bosworth and Kevin Spacey have starred in together - survived less than stellar critical reviews to cash in over $9000 per theater. (That average was tops for any move in the Top Ten.) The new box office champ also pushed Horton and its $17.7 million into second place.
Further down the list, Stop-Loss once again proved that audiences are not interested in purchasing tickets for pics about the war. Is it because these films are far too political, or do people simply need a more light-hearted theme to escape with? Whatever the reason, Loss entered the charts in a disappointing 8th place. The Ryan Phillippe vehicle did earn a respectable $3500 screen average though.
