Hilary Duff Dropped From Bonnie and Clyde Remake

Hilary Duff has been dropped from a remake of Bonnie and Clyde. The 23-year-old actress had been due to play Bonnie Parker in indie movie The Story of Bonnie and Clyde alongside Kevin Zegers as Clyde, but the pair have now both been removed due to neither being available until next year.
"While production has been pushed several times due to financial, scheduling and other factors such as tornados devastating some of our locations, we are currently gearing up to star production later this year. Unfortunately we are now faced with scheduling conflicts with our leads Hilary Duff and Kevin Zegers. We were told that Duff would not be available until June 2012 and that Zegers would not be available until January of the new year. Due to our obligations with investors and international buyers it is imperative that we stick to our current schedule. Therefore we are forced to explore other options for the two lead roles. Unfortunately this happens all the time in the world of filmmaking," producers Tonya Holly and Tom Rogers confirmed in a statement.
It is not known who is in line to take over the leading roles.

See a Sultrier Side to Hilary Duff
Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Drama, Political, Casting, Celebrity Gossip, Upcoming Releases,
The Lizzie McGuire star isn’t Disney’s property anymore. Hilary Duff will soon be steaming it up on the big screen, in a role which could propel her out of the lighthearted teen parts of her past.
Duff plays a pop star in War, Inc, but there’s nothing bubble-gum about her performance - at least, not in the clip that’s making the rounds on the Internet. In the film, John Cusack plays a hit man who is using Duff as a cover story. Marisa Tomei and Ben Kingsley co-star. The movie will hit theaters May 23, but the clip of Duff’s scorpion scene is available right now.

Hilary Duff Back on the Big Screen

Gamely trying to keep herself from disappearing off the radar completely, former tween icon Hilary Duff is currently shooting a new movie. Greta is currently being filmed on location in New Jersey and features Duff as a waitress who falls for a cook (played by Evan Ross). Their romance is fraught with obstacles put in place by her grandparents (Ellen Burstyn and Michael Murphy play the roles) who have an aversion of the cook’s criminal past. The dramatic tale of interracial love is a far different story from Duff’s previous movie acting credits, which include Cheaper by the Dozen and Agent Cody Banks.
