Beloved Hollywood Actor Karl Malden Dead at 97
Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Disney, Celeb News, Obituaries,
You may remember him from a couple of Marlon Brando movies, or perhaps from a Disney classic or two, but the truth is that Karl Malden’s celebrated career encompassed more than fifty films. He was not a leading man, but he was definitely an acting powerhouse. Now, Malden’s fire has been snuffed out at the age of 97.
The actor died, surrounded by his family, of natural causes at his Brentwood home. It was a quiet end for the man with the resonant voice, who won a Best Supporting Actor Oscar for his role in A Streetcar Named Desire (Marlon Brando’s first major film; actress Vivien Leigh won her second Best Actress Oscar for the same movie).

LaToya Jackson Scene Removed from Bruno
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Universal, Comedy, Celeb News, Upcoming Releases,
Sacha Baron Cohen may be known for pushing the boundaries, but he won’t - at least in this situation - be labeled insensitive.
Shortly after Michael Jackson’s death, the producers of Borat made quick edits before their film’s premiere. A scene that featured a Jackson sibling was cut from the film.
“Out of respect for the Jackson family, the filmmakers have decided to remove a small scene involving La Toya Jackson,” a Universal Pictures spokesperson said.
In previous screenings, critics saw the flamboyant title character trick Michael’s sister doing an interview with him. Bruno then went on to talk about the King of Pop’s high-pitched voice and trademark glove. He also attempted to retrieve the singer’s number from LaToya’s cell phone.
Although it was initially unsure whether the edit would be temporary, the studio confirmed today that the scene would be left out of the theatrical release.
Bruno opens on July 10.

Meanwhile, two other movies will simply replace the actor altogether: Portland, an indie film that was nearing the principal photography phase, and Beyond Legend, Johnny Kakota. The producers of the latter project are now hoping to fill the void with Jon Voight.

Currently, Notorious is scheduled to hit theaters on the 16th of January. But Lil Kim says the movie is sensationalized, as films are wont to be.
