Angelina Jolie Perfected ‘Maleficent’ Voice on Her Kids

Angelina Jolie as 'Maleficent'Angelina Jolie perfected her voice for Maleficent while bathing her kids.

The 38-year-old star tried out a number of different way of talking with her brood - Maddox, 12, Pax, 10, Zahara, nine, Shiloh, seven, and twins Knox and Vivienne, five - to perfect the way she should talk as the evil queen in the new Disney movie:

"I would give them baths and I would try different voices on them, on different nights. I would tell them stories in different voices and sometimes they would kind of go, 'That's a weird voice mom, why are you doing that?' When I did the one they all started laughing and made me do it over and over again and that's how I discovered her voice because I thought, it had to be a voice that is just fun to listen to and get really crazy."

Although Angelina and her fiance Brad Pitt don't want their children to go into acting, they allowed Vivienne to play a young Princess Aurora in the movie, but getting her to do what they wanted on set proved harder than they initially realized.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie to Star in New Movie Together

Angelina Jolie and Brad PittBrad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are to star in their first film together in almost a decade.

The couple haven't been seen together in a movie since starring in Mr. & Mrs. Smith back in 2005, which sparked their real-life love affair, but it is believed they have "an exciting new venture" in the pipeline for the near future. The 38-year-old actress has reportedly penned the script for the upcoming movie, which will be set in Europe. "People will not want to miss it!" an insider said.

Angelina is currently working in post-production on her film Unbroken after she impressed with her directorial debut in The Land of Blood and Honey in 2011. She also voices the title character in Disney's Maleficent, which will hit theaters on May 30.

Brad, 50, has just wrapped up filming for the World War II action movie Fury, which will hit the big screen on November 14.

Brad Pitt Films Cameo for ‘21 Jump Street’ Sequel

Jonah Hill and Brad PittHow could the sequel to 21 Jump Street top its predecessor's Johnny Depp cameo? Simple: cast Brad Pitt!

The 12 Years a Slave producer and star is joining forces (for a little screen time, anyway) with his Moneyball co-star Jonah Hill in the upcoming sequel to the 2012 film adaptation of the 80's television series. Though Pitt is known for dramas and thrillers, funnyman Hill was able to coax the 50-year-old star into appearing in 22 Jump Street.

Pitt's cameo sees him as a lowly librarian when Hill and co-star Channing Tatum come across him as he puts on a poor acting performance. "The scene is very funny and the guys had a great time doing it. Brad was a great sport and the producers were thrilled that he took part," an insider said. While the proverbial beans seem to have been spilled with Pitt's cameo (unlike Depp's, which was suspected but never confirmed prior to release of the first film), the Oscar-nominated actor is sure to still deliver the laughs.

22 Jump Street hits theaters on June 13, 2014.

Shia LaBeouf and Brad Pitt filming 'Fury'

Brad Pitt reportedly thinks Shia LaBeouf is too serious.

The duo, who are currently filming the movie Fury in Oxfordshire, England, have always wanted to work together but allegedly aren't getting along well on set between scenes because they are so different. "Brad likes to enjoy himself on a set, but Shia is an incredibly serious guy when it comes to his performances. They have very different styles of working and it's not mixing well on a personal level, which is tough because Brad and Shia met many years ago and wanted to work together. They searched a long time until they found the right project and both were enthusiastic about the World War II army thriller," a source said.

Brad Pitt Says Big Hollywood Pay Days Are Over

Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Celebrity Gossip, Lists,

Brad PittBrad Pitt says actors can longer expect to earn multi-million dollar salaries.

The 48-year-old actor insists Hollywood just doesn't have the cash to splash on its major stars at the moment due to the global financial crisis and the top actors must simply get used to the economic change. When asked if major stars could expect to earn $10 million per movie, he told the BBC, "Yeah, that thing died. That arithmetic doesn't really work right now ... that deal's not flying these days."

Despite the drop in salaries, Brad insists it is a really "interesting" time in Hollywood at the moment. The Killing Them Softly star insists the monetary challenges can bring the best out of the industry. "It's a really interesting time. A lot of the studios have been challenged because of the economic downturn as well so they've been betting on bigger, more tent pole kinds of things. At the same time that opens up a vacuum for really interesting new filmmakers to come in," he explained.
