Ashton Kutcher's latest starring role took a toll on his health.
The 34-year-old actor has revealed he was rushed to hospital before shooting his new movie Jobs about the late entrepreneur Steve Jobs after embarking on a fruit-only diet for the biopic, favored by the Apple co-founder who died of pancreatic cancer in 2011.
He told USA Today at the premiere of the movie at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah on Friday, "First of all, the fruitarian diet can lead to like severe issues. I went to the hospital like two days before we started shooting the movie. I was doubled over in pain. My pancreas levels were like completely out of whack. It was really terrifying ... considering everything."
The Two And A Half Men star studied hundreds of hours of footage of Steve for the role and claims he discovered they had a lot in common.

While iTunes users have become used to seeing selections from Disney, DVD offerings from other studios have not come as quickly as some might have liked. But it looks like things may soon change.
Just today, Fox made Juno available for download via the popular site. This is the same day the Oscar-nominated film was placed on store and rental shelves. It’s likely the studio will allow more current titles to be sold in the future, but no immediate plans have been announced.
Meanwhile, Paramount has also started to dabble in Apple‘s waters as well. The company recently offered up Beowulf for purchase shortly after it debuted on DVD in February.
At last check, Juno (on sale for $14.99) was iTunes’ top seller.

Movie Rentals Coming to iTunes
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: 20th Century Fox, Home Entertainment, Technology,
Industry insiders are reporting that a deal has been struck between 20th Century Fox and Apple. This agreement would allow iTunes users to now rent movies from the online service. The films from the Fox catalogue would only be available for only a limited time.
Although no price has yet been set, the rentals should come cheaper than the movies for purchase. More details on this service are expected to be announced at the January Macworld conference.
