Johnny Depp Surprises D23 Audience
Johnny Depp, in his Pirates of the Caribbean mien, rode a pirate ship into the Disney D23 Expo yesterday. As it turns out, Jack Sparrow wasn’t just there to delight crowds: he had an announcement to make.
It was in this fashion that Disney chose to unveil the name for the newest Pirates installment. The fourth in the franchise will be named Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides and sails to theaters in the summer of 2011.

It'll probably be just like the second one. I mean, they were filmed at the same time, they knew the third one was going to come out. I don't see how it could be any sillier than the second one. Anyway, I liked the second one. Usually I'm not that into multiplex "popcorn" flicks, but I really enjoy the Pirates series.

I saw the movie today, and thought it was a great one. The effects, action, and actors were great. The story wasn't a mind bender, but it really didn't need to be. It was a movie about pirates. Thats fun in and of itself. Its a movie that provides a great escape from reality. We all need that every now and then.
