The internet had been going wild today with a quote reportedly attributed to the Inglourious Basterds actor. Unfortunately, the comment about his Interview with the Vampire co-star simply isn’t true.

According to German magazine Stern, Pitt was recently asked about Cruise’s Valkyrie, another project about the Nazis. “It was a ridiculous movie,” Brad allegedly remarked. Unfortunately, there’s just one problem: he hasn’t watched the film.

“Brad has never seen Valkyrie so this is NOT accurate,” Pitt’s manager firmly stated.

Whether he ever intends to view it now is anyone’s guess…
