Time Warner to Offer Download-to-Burn in 2007

timewarnerlogoTime Warner has announced that it will be offering download-to-burn DVD movies sometime next year. Although limited services such as Amazon Unbox, CinemaNow, and Movielink already exist, we figured it would just be a question of time before major moviemakers like Time Warner would get in on the action.

“Traditional media businesses are finding their way into the digital space without completely capsizing or cannibalizing their traditional media businesses,” said Richard Parsons, chief executive and chairman of Time Warner.

With this leap for humankind, we suspect other companies to follow suit, bringing us one step closer to never having to leave our computers.
