Crap. It’s Freaking COLD Out Here.
The things some would do for an Xbox 360 at launch…currently it is below 40 degrees, right about freezing, and there are about 120 hardcore gamers standing in line at the Bellevue, WA Best Buy location - the one where Bill Gates will be making an appearance to kick off the launch of the Xbox 360 here on the West Coast. My body is numb, and I forgot my blanket. Luckily, tons of people brought spares, and I got the hook up. Still though. So. Cold. Pictures to come later after I defrost my camera.

That brings back memories…when a new strip club opened in my area. It was freezing outside, but after the cold came fire! LOL!

Ack—no blanket!? Did you do jumping jacks all morning?

First off, that is NOT cold. Stop complaining about above freezing temperatures
. Try coming up to Manitoba, Canada with our -4F weather. (By the way, -4 is nothing)

Its 75 and sunny in SoCal. HA HA!

Xbox and cold weather go together. I do enjoy playing games of fire when the air is freezing. It reminds me that the heat still lingers around. High octane games and action games are also advisable.

This was at 10 PM for a 9 am launch, some guy said come back at 9:05 am tomarrow with 1k cash and you can have mine, most of the people waiting were not gammers they were trying to make money. What a disapoitment.

Do cameras work in freezing temps?? LOL

In good ol’ England you can just walk into any retailer and pic up a 360, no queues here.
PS i did not buy one after seeing the apalling streaky demo of some war game.

Maybe a stupid question, but it’s now the 22nd and still no screaming, defrosted, xbox yet?
(+5 degrees Celsius here, oh, outside, not inside of course)

Hey guys ... be sure to help me really lay a guilt trip on Andru ... he would have gotten screwed out of his 360 if I wasn’t such a great friend. He wasn’t there when they handed out tickets (had to take his son to an appointment), so I gave him mine.
It was cold out there, colder than I expected. Looks like we might be in for a bit of a dicey winter. I’ll be up at our mountain cabin, holed up like a hermit ...

Well, I got mine at the Best Buy here in OKC. Showed up at 5 a.m. for a 9 a.m. store opening. I was the last one to get just a core system voucher. So, I had to shuck out some major cash to get it to the Premium level. Anyhow, some lady showed up at the store at 8:50 am. Asked who wanted to sale there voucher to her. Nobody thought she had the cash. But the guy in front of me had two. One was his wifes -she was with him. He said for her to name her price and that they would go from there. She opens her purse and lays out a grand. That is right 10 Benjamins. Needless to say he parted with one of his CORE vouchers. That is right a $1,000 for a core voucher. I helped her pick out the extras she needed. I guess some parents spoil there kids and then there are those that freakin’ bid over backwards for their kids.

Let me tell you, the XBOX 360 is amazing! I was at my Best Buy camping out at 3:00 AM to get my hands on it on launch day. Graphics are amazing, especially on HD. Good luck getting your hands on one. Freepay has launched a site to get one for free, but it requires 8 referrals. If you want to get a free XBOX 360, go to the website I set up that helps out by using a conga line. I recently opened it, so you’ll be close to the top. www.geocities.com/xbox360s4free
