Xbox 360 Details Update

DescriptionWith the MTV special out of the way and E3 happening next week Microsoft has finally revealed system specs for the Xbox 360.  Whether it be the OurColony.net Video or that horrid excuse for an unveiling we’re bringing you this info straight from the source which some of you may have seen, Xbox.com. Click below to see some of the specs.

Here is a list from Microsoft themselves:

  • Memory: 512 MB of 700 MHz GDDR3 RAM
  • Video Processor: Custom ATI Processor with 10 MB of embedded DRAM
  • Storage: Removable 20GB HD, 12X Dual Layer DVD-Rom, and as we’ve mentioned 64MB Storage Cards
  • Hook-ups: 3 USB 2.0 Ports, Supports 4 wireless controllers

pretty impressive in most areas but it always comes down to how well the features are implemented into the games. Unless it makes the games better in the end then it doesn’t matter what is under the hood.

I really do like the detachable harddrive idea though 😊. Not to mention it will be nice to have the wireless controllers…though may be annoying having to make sure they are always charged lol.
