The windows I’ve seen so far don’t differ much from Windows Vista. Different content yeah, but same style.

Why can’t they just make it just one OS Version instead of Basic, Home Basic, Ultimate, etc…?

might be same style but better graphics and different things you can do with this one that you cant with vista. So far i like windows 7 at least what i am seeing on here

Don’t forget, the images you have seen before this are just prototypes, they are just concepts that COULD be used in the future. The real Windows Seven builds look almost identical to Windows Vista because the UI isnt changed until much later in the beta process.
