    The screen is made out of glass, so it makes sense for HP to add plastic to the screen.  If the fingerprints on the screen are hard to remove, I would keep the plastic on there, but keep cleaning the plastic whenever it gets messy.  That way I wouldn’t be messing up the screen and it would be easier to clean it too.
