the $100,000 30 second superbowl commercial provides legit customers and even more importantly, EXPOSURE…
let’s see here…the company is throwing away dollars by paying this companies to advertise to the same small group of people who maybe 1 out of 5000 will signup, and they aren’t really getting great name exposure…
that is a waste of their advertising dollars that could be much better spent through tv ads/superbowl ads in which they will be exposed to MILLIONS of people…
it’s just like for auto insurance…the name you always here…Geico Geico Geico…now when I finally get my bummy ass a job and get out from under my father’s auto insurance…who’s the first name I will think of in terms of auto insurance…Geico…its that simple…they may not make direct sales from the superbowl ad, but they sure as hell got some outstanding exposure which is a dollar better spent.
