I don’t watch very much TV, so I haven’t seen the Sonic commercials in forever. Some of them are funny, with the guy saying he can order whatever kind of burger he wants and Sonic will make it… but I dunno.
Cherry Limades, on the other hand, are probably the world’s greatest elixer.
Oh yeah, the Sonic commercials are pretty funny. ONly one of them has made me laugh really hard though. It was the one commercial where the chick comes up to the window to give them their food, and the guy in the passenger seat is like, “Oh dude—she gave us two extra mints. She thought you were cute.” And the guy was like, “Really?” Then the other guy goes, “Yeah. You should flirt back or something! But be smooth about it.” And so the other guy goes: “I THINK YOU’RE REALLY CUTE TOO!!!!!” Heh… good timez, good timez
you know whats the sad thing about sonic they advertise in like every market for tv ex locations i live on the east coast new england and i see this wonderfull comerical telling me about this lime aid slushy thingy or was it a cherry slushy thingy. how its so good im drinking my diet coke watchin my program and i see this commerical i go ohh that great now i want that slushy drink. i go to the website and no locations near me i think i pulled up the closest which was virgina, ( ct to va is like 12 hrs i think) im like why bother inticing the consumer if you dont have products to sell in that area. its like telling u come eat with us, but yet u cant beacuse we dont have the locations. its bull. i have a neighbor who once drove 14 hrs to go to some resturant that was like really big but had no franchises in ct, drove 14 hrs to eat then after dinner drove another 14 hrs back to ct a waste of gas
^that sucks! not that i care, but kmart does that here….there are always kmart commercials on tv but there hasnt been a kmart here for about 3 years LMAO!
I enjoying going to Austin every once in a while to eat at Carrow’s then get a Slurpee from 7-11, since there arent any in San Antonio, but its only like a 3 hour drive…..

8) San Antonio rocks with banding together to do stuff. We’re a very involved city—we ran Albertson’s, Kroger’s, and all the other grocery stores out of town ‘cause we heart our H-E-Bs!!!! We got rid of Fazoli’s too, which kinda sucked ‘cause I liked them :( But everyone I spoke to here was always like, “Fast-food Italian? That’s dumb. We’ll just go to a restaurant for that to get REAL food” And everyone commends us on how much we support our Spurs, even when they’re losing!
We don’t like 7-11 here!!! They suck! Exxon and Shell are the way to go!
 We’re actually a surprisingly snobby city.. well, not snobby, but we’ve got a lot of Old Money influence here that manages to get their agenda done. It’s kinda odd, I haven’t seen it in many other cities.

Yes, I’ve noticed San Antonians like to have only one store to shop at so that there is no variety or competitive pricing, just one grocery store that can charge whatever they want because you don’t have a choice.

i had never seen a sonic until i was going to tampa. there was one in the middle of nowhere that i recognized from their commercials. i checked their florida locations, and i have come to the conclusion that they must be reserved for poor rural locations (at least in FL).
016pt, VA is not 12 hours from CT. but yeah, its too far to go for fast food.
