Another scenario, people would continue to call them DVD’s. You know how our parents still call CD’s Records and Albums?

“I bought that new Clay Aiken Record” - My mother

Despite the fact that it was clearly a CD. Dunno. I’ll call them Blu rays, just like i call DVD’s Digital Versitile Disc!! (yeah, right)

Which they will, what will people call them.  You know, people call DVDs DVDs, CDs CDs, but blu-ray doesn’t roll off the toungue as easily, so what will people call them?
