Yes we know its fattening but its really good.

Whats your usual and whats ur favorite chinese food.

my favorite is general tsos

my usual is general tsos or seaseme chicken combo with egg roll and pork fried rice( sometimes shrimp fried)

My favorite is sweet and sour chicken, with steamed rice. Gotta love the sweet and sour sauce.

i love that but it depends where u get it some places make the sauce very watery others too thick.

Beef and Broccoli, lol. That was never a chinese food dish until they made it up here in America. Now its sold in chinese food huts like egg roll express everywhere.

spicy peanut noodle.. it is the best! spicy & sweet.. it hits the spot…I’m addicted to this dish

i always get Cashew nut chicken.. with streamed rice and egg flower soup.. aergh damnit now im hungry.

i went to a chinese food buffet for lunch….....

then for dinner i went to a chinese restuarant and had sweet and sour pork…..

When I lived in California there was this place called Ho-Toys and they had the best teryaki chicken in the world!  no place I have ever been to can compare.  I love my chinese food!

we were worried when we saw that first sign go up for the place….Ho-Toys…..hmmmm.  We were kinda scared, but intrigued at the same time.  raspberry

I got chinese food today raspberry for lunch! I ordered the sweet and sour chicken with the steamed rice. My fortune cookie sucked, though.

Does anybody else read their fortunes and add the words “in bed” to the end of the fortunes?

i always add “in bed” to the end of the fortune, lol. some results fare better than others….

did ya know fortune cookies were actually invented here in America? Not even by a Chinese person, or even an Asian.

I have one thing to say…

EGG ROLLS ARE NOT CHINESE!


raspberry   Thought I might share that egg rolls are not part of (true) Chinese culture, nor have ever been.  They were developed in California probably by an asian family just trying to make a living much like the story of “Fortune Cookies”.  Im not Chinese, but I am Vietnamese (Which is completely different I might add :wink: unlike some people think :x grr…) so I thought I might share this with you.  :D   Spring rolls, however, are part of alot of the asian cultures, usually with soft outside, filled with various vegetables. 

I mean, don’t get me wrong.  I love the food at some of these “Chinese” restaraunts, but over half of the dishes they serve are not of Chinese history or asain history for that matter.

This has been your history of food lesson for today.  You may now get back to your “normal” lives.  :D Thanks for listening (or reading)

Ahh yes.. Pho’  (cant find the accented o) is my favorite food.  I eat it like every day.  So good…
