GT4 will have 480p and 1080i

click “about” and click the 3rd option

it says GT4 will have 5.1 channel, 480p and 1080i

Ingame and photomode can run at 1080i, and 480 in the menu pages.

And to think, xboys though PS2 can’t handle HDTV, let alone the 60 fps the game has.

GT4, here I come! :D

Those are progressive, and HDTV resolutions.  Impressive for such a beautiful looking game.  Makes you wish all PS2 games had that.

This will look so nice on my HDTV:D I can’t wait to get it.

And I really didn’t get it either but I’m guessing it means something like it will be high-definition.

Doesnt that mean were going to need the special HDTV cables for the ps2?

I think you would need component cables to get that high of resolution and of course an HDTV.
