They just built a fuddruckers near my house, at the end of the street I live on. Its within walking distance, which is good because I’d need the exercise after eating those delicious steak fries!!

Fast Food (burgers): In-n-Out Burger (sadly only on West Coast)
Fast Food (subs): Firehouse Subs (started in Jacksonville, FL, but are now moving about the country

Sitdown: TGI Fridays (gotta love the Vanilla Bean Cheesecake)

Expensive Luxury: Maggiano’s (best Italian ever)

Outback, Texas Roadhouse, TGI Fridays are all good.

Taco Bell is also good.

This authentic mexican restaurant near my home, Casa Laredo, is also excellent.

I like the taco stand about 5 minutes away from my house.. mm mm good…  Also, Salt-grass is the place for steaks.  I love getting a 12 oz and a 10 oz, medium-rare or rare.  Hard to believe I weigh 115-120 at 5’9”.

Do you guys have Fazoli’s there? They’re fast! :D We used to have them here, but one day, they just disappeared… much like H-E-B did with Albertson’s, Kroger’s, Randall’s, etc. 😛

I haven’t seen a Randall’s in forever… but Albertson’s are all over Oklahoma, and Krogers are in Indiana.

Albertson’s disappeared here too.  You know, the H-E-B in McAllen has the best Chineese food. You wouldn’t believe how much people go there for lunch ... It’s cheap and soooooo gooood… better than most chinese restaurants.

We got H-E-B’s of the Central Market variety, they rock, they got everything you could ask for. We also have Tom Thumb, which i think is associated with Randalls…and we have Albertsons, and Kroger….I frequent them often….I should be fat by now…..

anyway, back to the topic of this thread: When I’m in California, I love In n’ Out or Wolfgang Puck. Back home in Texas, I love Pluckers, a great chicken wings place, I have yet to find a place that makes honey bbq wings as good as they do. Plus, the wings are much bigger than most places. Only downside is smelling like honey bbq for the rest of the day, that stuff will stay with you like luggage, never leaves. I also like a place called Fuji, its sort of like Benihana, only about 10x better. The chefs do much cooler tricks and the food is prepared much better. They have a pretty good selection of Sake also 😊
