Is it wrong to use an open WiFi that's not yours?
Yes, it’s wrong. You have no business logging on to someone elses network. 0
No. It doesn’t hurt anybody as long as you stay out of their shared files, and you don’t hog too much bandwidth. 2

Do you think it’s wrong to use someone else’s unprotected WiFi?  I mean, I drive around with my laptop, and I find tons of open wireless networks, and I’m just so tempted to hop on them and do a quick email check or web surfing. Oh, and plus what are the legal issues? I myself wouldn’t mind, as long I’m able to restrict access to my shared files, and limit bandwidth. Sharing is caring, right?
