Can the battery be removed/ replaced? Because the Ipod battery can’t be replaced,so when it dies out completely its dead,& you have to pay like $60 for a new battery

Damn this is dope, i updated the firmware to a korean version 1.20, and i can play videos now, its still in english and stuff. iRiver is the BEST, for those of you that got the iRiver just post here and i will give u a link to download the firmware.

I uploaded alot of porno movies to it lmfao, its tight, u just gotta convert the videos with Virtual Dub to the correct size then bam just watch it on ur H320. So happy i got this instead of the iPod!!!

u can get the firmware from iriver.com if u don’t trust him. Im gonna wait for the US version of this firmware. I knew of this firmware for a while but there was only a korean version.

Well, I just read an article on Endgadget that said that this new update can only play videos at 10 fps and for 1hr 40 minutes max.

Also, with only a 2” screen, is it that great?

That seems too small to me?

Before everyone goes to upload the new korean firmware for their iRiver, I think that you should know the risks going into it.

On other versions of the iRiver, loading firmware that wasn’t meant for your version essentially turned it into a brick.  Though this recent firmware seems to be okay for the US version, I’d still be very cautious about it.

Also, if you download the Korean firmware, and your iRiver has some freak problem with the hard drive or the battery or anything else (which can be known to happen), your warranty will be voided, and you won’t be able to get it replaced.  It says that specifically in the faq or help or whatever.

Also, you will lose the clock function (not a big deal) but you will also lose the ability to upload DRM files(which I guess are the rights protected songs you get from itunes or other servies like that) and lose the use of the usb 1.1 port. 

There’s supposed to be US firmware coming out in the upcoming weeks, so I would just wait for that. (don’t know if they’ll include the video function though.)

And yeah it is a Korean firmware update, but it works just like the normal thing, only feature you lose is the clock on the h320 or h340 and also DRM files..but who uses drm files??..i dont even know what DRM is lolol…

you can use mp3 and everything else good. and you can only use the data port, but thats all youll need.

But the quality on this is dope, 10 fps might seem bad, but on an mp3 player..wow, dis thing is amazing. i uploading some music videos and im bumpin right now, im pausin and rewindin beyonces ass and stuff.

and..pvps are better then mp3 players, if u had a choice, get the pvp.

^ i dont think u can remove the battery, you probably have to unscrew stuff because i saw some pics of a guy who took his iriver apart.
