Certainly sounds like the next step. It would have to have a better screen and easy-DVD-ripping for me to consider it.

For a video ipod, you would have to prob complete 2 offers urself as well as get 10 referrals. Maybe they would just do 10 referals but the photo ipod is 10 referals for 40 G. youll definately need 40 G for a video ipod.

The Photo iPod doesn’t play movies. It plays a slide show. You can stuff half a movie’s screenshots in frame by frame and play it with no music.

If you want a video player/mp3 player you might as well get an archos gmini. The newest version is pretty sweet and not that expensive in comparison with an ipod.
