This is just a brief summary of it i guess..

THE O.C. is a story of fathers and sons, husbands and wives and the relationships between a group of teens in Southern California. Newport Beach, Orange County is an idyllic paradise: a wealthy, harbor front community where everything and everyone appears to be perfect. But beneath the surface is a world of shifting loyalties and identities, of kids living secret lives hidden from their parents and of parents living secret lives hidden from their children.

RYAN ATWOOD (Benjamin McKenzie), a troubled teen from the wrong side of the tracks, is thrust into this world when SANDY COHEN (Peter Gallagher), an idealistic pro-bono public defender, invites him to stay in his guesthouse. Ryan soon learns that nothing is what it seems, and his arrival serves as the catalyst for forging new alliances, rekindling old flames and striking unlikely friendships.

Sandy’s wife, KIRSTEN (Kelly Rowan), a wealthy and beautiful former homecoming queen and the perfect spouse, mother and businesswoman, isn’t happy that Ryan has moved in. And she’s worried about how the change will affect her and Sandy’s teenage son, SETH (Adam Brody), a soulful dreamer ostracized by his peers.

Meanwhile, MARISSA COOPER (Mischa Barton), the heartbreakingly beautiful girl next door, seems to glide through life effortlessly, that is, until the indiscretions of her wealthy father, JIMMY (Tate Donovan) threaten to break her world apart

So who here saw the first episode. I missed it someone fill me in.

seth’s mom finds out where seth is staying at. sends dad to get him. seth refuses to go. seth’s dad respects his decision. seth gains a little more respect for his dad. they bond a little.

seth’s dad had seen ryan before seeing seth. he gives him a ticket to see seth. ryan feels burdened by his pregnant girlfriend whom is faithful and loves him so much. seth’s dad decides to go persuade seth to return home. he goes. while he’s there, the girlfriend lies about losing the baby, telling ryan to go back to the cohen’s. ryan and seth return to the cohen household.

summer tries to move on since seth left her. returns all her stuff from seth to seth’s room before he returned home.

marissa is still major hung over ryan. she called ryan during night but didn’t speak. just wanting to hear him a bit. her relationship with her mother gets more screwy as she broke down in front of her mom.

Basically, The O.C. is this millenium’s new 90210 and Melrose Place replacement, but much better.

that works to.. Its a great show for the modern time.

lol, its just a show about rich people and their drama. i watch it for the hot girls, nice homes, and nice cars. the show is filmed in malibu, not newport beach, where its supposed to be, lol. sorry, only reason i know is cuz i have family that lives in the OC, and they just simply laugh at the show. the term “OC” had never ever been used by anyone who lives in the OC. well, they use it now cuz of the show…..ok, im’ rambling cuz studying for my exam i have tomorrow is a lost cause…..

the OC kiks major ass! i love it so much.  the girls are so hot! summer marrissa.  I’m not liking the new characters too much tho becasue its ruining the relationships between ryan and marrissa and summer and seth.  its a great show tho!
