[quote author=“jz249203”]I have a new question about earbuds.  Those black cushiony things that slide over the buds keep popping out.  I only got 4, and already lost 1.  How can I keep them securely attached?  Or can u buy them separately?  It hurts without them on!

Jen

Make sure you’ve got them on correctly.  They stay on mine very well and I take my ipod everywhere.

Hi,
Can anyone find me a tutorial or tell me how to put mp3’s (not 99? iTunes) into my iPod?

Also, in iTunes, I see playlists from people at my college.  When I right-click, there’s a copy option.  Can I copy it into my iPod without buying?

Thank you!
Jen

That costs money.  What I would do is go to http://www.ephpod.com and download it.  Best free software around, I used it for my old iPod after I reformatted it from mac.

If you want to copy those songs, do a google search for “mytunes redux” and enjoy.

If I download “mytunes redux,” do I use that separately from iTunes?  If that’s the case, how do I bum the playlists from the server iTunes shows me?

Are you saying I shouldn’t even bother with iTunes at all?

No, iTunes is by far the best!  I have it open right now.  MyTunes Redux is just a little extra program.  You run it and pick what you want and press download.  Simple as that.

Ok.  I’m using iTunes.  Can I somehow use the right click + copy to get those playlists into my iPod?  or do I have to manually d/l everything?

How often should I charge my battery?  How low should I let the battery dip?

Alright, you can’t just copy and paste their playlists.  That’s what you use Redux for… YES, you have to manually download everything.  It’s not that hard.  Either that or go buy the music, your choice.

Wait until the battery is almost dead, then charge it.  That’s what I do and my ipod is still chuggin along.  My battery lasts about 3 weeks.

xcaret, sup?  😛 There used to be a way to do it, I’m not sure.  I think their new firmware might have made that go away.  Ephpod used to be able to do it, you might try that.  Or check out ipodlounge.

Haxxess, sorry, I’m not sure.  Try putting it in disk mode.  Which version of ipod do you have?  I can tell you from that.

Is Redux separate from iTunes, like a p2p application (Limewire)?  Or is it a plug-in for iTunes?  *confused*

Did ya download MyTunes Redux?  Just install it and run it, and it should show everyone on your network that has iTunes shares, and you can search and download whatever you want.
