I’m talking about the original 1978 version. I haven’t seen the new one, called “Legend of DM” but Chan kicks so much @ss in this film it’s unbelievable.

Saw “Legend of Drunken Master” and it kicks major @$$. I’ll have to check out the original sometime.

Well, which one was better, the original or “Legend”? I want to buy the original, but if Legend is just as good and isn’t as slap-stick I might prefer that.

The Legend of Drunken Master and Drunken Master are both awesome Jackie Chan films but Drunken Boxing is really not that great as a real martial art, the only benefit is the pain-reduction since you’re too drunk to feel pain.
