I can. Call of Duty: United Offensive rocks in both single and multiplayer, has tanks and jeeps as well, and it’s so much easier to aim with a MOUSE AND KEYBOARD.

Halo was overrated. It was a good game and all, but nothing spectacular. If anything, Half-Life had better “first-person storytelling”, and Perfect Dark had more enjoyable multiplayer. If the sequel is any better, then I might change my opinion.

I never liked Halo that much. It was fun multiplayer but the single-player sucked. There are better multi-player games out there as well. I’m a big fan of the time-splitter series.  Halo always seemed too slow. I like my games at a breakneck pace.

halo is just amazing, i dunno what everyone else is talkin about.

well i’ve got a 8 year old computer, so any of those PC games are out of the question for me, me an some of my friends have xbox’s and halo, its a fun game to play with 16 people, I know there are other games but this one is the best FPS out i think for the xbox

My boyfriend refuses to get this game ‘cause he isn’t a big fan, and I want it for the online compatibility :(

Oh gawd, I am going to be a sad panda when this game comes out. :(

I’m picking it up!

I thought that the whole single player part of the game was awesome. The storyline is awesome! It’s a lot better if you read about all the background stuff on xbox.com and then read more of the story on   . Once you understand the whole background story, then the game is so much more immersive. 

I can’t wait for the new single player story to unfold.

I’m just going to get it for the on line play. If the last game had “supported” on line play then its replay value woulda been better.

I have an Xbox, it’s been sitting in my closet since I got bored of Halo 1 (2 days after it came out)

only a few more days. ive been waiting since i reserved it. I just hope i dont get disappointed

You can play it online. Just not through Xbox Live. You use what people call ” tunneling” its where you hook up your xbox to a router and you hook your pc there also. Then you open a program ( such as game spy arcade for tunneling) and you choose a game and you play against other people. I’ve done it before , its incredibly fun. Thats part of the reason why I want 2 to come out, I’ve already experienced Online with Halo before and I must say it is extremely awsome. The good thing is that I wont pay a cent, my friends will get it.

I’m definitely picking this one up. Since I ordered online (with free standard shipping), I have to wait a few days after the release day to play. It’s not so bad of a wait though. I have other games to play anyway.  😛

do you guys think Halo 2 will outsell GTA: San Andreas? I would like to know because my friend bet me $20 that Halo 2 will outsell GTA.

I’m guessing that it will sell more than GTA. Even 7-11 was promoting Halo 2.

more people have ps2 than xbox so gta will outsell it

^But a lot and I mean a lot of people are going to get xbox just for halo 2. And Halo 2 is online with Xbox live which gives it better replay value which GTA doesn’t have. GTA also isn’t even multiplayer. I just think Halo 2 is anticipated more than GTA was.
