the hp one is just a way for apple to sell ipods to stupid people. I used to work retail and people thought that because the had a sony tv they had to buy a sony vcr or dvd player because it would work better together. Companies just help the gene pool get more shallow.
One has thing little apple thing on the back…the other has this hp logo on the back.
Oh, and the harddrives are different inside. Other than that, nothing. And apple has a one year warranty on theirs, though I hear hp has started giving those out.
