I’m still debating about it, but I’m leaning toward no.  Here’s why:

Ewoks, I know the story well already, old FX, Luke’s whining, the actors are all old now, Bobba Fett (the costume, anyway) is played out.

Really, I don’t think of the Star Wars movies as some of my favorites. I respect them as some of our times best movies, but that doesn’t mean they are my favorites.

uhh i’m to sure yet…i’m a big fan of the series but i dont really like all the extras and stuff george lucas has doneto the films…i would like to rather just have the original films untouched, o well…

I have video cassette tapes of the original trilogy and the special edition versions of the trilogy.  I am going to get the DVD set because I want the good picture and the good sound that isn’t possible on video tapes.  I wish they would have included versions of the original trilogy in the box set.

ima get the DVD set eventually. i liked the movies. i had the Special Edition trilogy box set on tape but i dont kno where the hell it is. i think my friend borrowed it and i neva got it back from him

Eh. I dont think I am going to get it but I think my dad was talking about getting it. And my friends father was 2.

My dad got it… non-widescreen… he believes that widescreen just cut off the top and bottom of a movie

I own the star wars trilogy dvd box set, Its a must buy for star wars fans,

Hopefully next year they will release the Episodes 1-3 trilogy box set,
