Does anyone who posts here have one? I don’t. If you do, please tell about how you like it, your thoughts about it, etcc., etc. .... and pics would be nice, too.

thanks smile

That’s because you’re always at home using your PC!  raspberry

The new imac is pretty awesome. I work at a college, in the tech department, and i just had to set up quite a few of these. Lets do some pros and cons, shall we?

Pros:
Space saving design
GORGEOUS screen
MiniDVI out Standard
DVD Burner (superdrive, blah blah)
more ports than you can shake a stick at
64bit processor
faster HDD (don’t know exact numbers, but block data from FW drive while imaging is fast as hell… 10 gigs in 14 minutes. Good times)

Cons:
Space saving design (Bigger isn’t always better, right?)
Limited upgradability
MiniDVI on support mirror, no dual desktop
No hieght adjustment, just up and down
LOUSY speakers, they point to the desk, that = muffled sound.
loud fans
runs really hot

They’re good machines… But I’d say go for the low end g5 powermac tower, its better, more expandable, dual desktop, blah blah. So, yeah.
