i was quite frustrated to read this article due to the fact that it states that it will be the “First MP3 Player for Action Sports”. Has no one ever heard of Swimman? check out http://www.swimman.net/pages/859128/index.htm for more info, they have had a fully waterproof mp3 player out for some time now.

Thanks for the tip! The article states that iRiver and H2O Audio are calling it that….which they are. You will see when the product is announced at the end of the month. I will post about the Swimman after their announcement is made, and I might even ask them about it.

That would have to be the most useless invention ever. I mean, who will listen to music and swim at the same time… :?

Michael Phelps.  Apparently, he has a custom-made ipod that is waterproof.  At least that’s what someone told me.

Ok, but he can easisly afford it. The avarage American wont really have a need for it, unless they sit by a pool without going in.
