I use Winamp. I used to use MusicMatch, but I stopped as it was always giving me problems. It was really slow too.
I heard FooBar’s really good, but haven’t looked into it yet. So currently using Winamp.

Winamp 5.3 or w/e it is. I like Winamp because it allows some customization to your audio. I haven’t really tried iTunes cause I like Winamp so much.  8) I don’t use the Winamp cd recorded feature actually, I use Nero for burning Cds.  :D

No way its for everything, its just way more organized, and you can do way more than winamp or windows media, the only difference is there is no equalizer with iTunes, but I never use it anyway.  Id reccommend trying it.

I think that winamp 5 has a lot more features than classic winamp, but I don’t use any of them. One thing that is missing from iTunes that i absolutely LOVE about winamp is the jump. In winamp, if you hit “J” and then type in a few letters of the song you want, it will narrow it down until it finds it, then plays it. In iTunes, however, the browse will narrow down your playlist and only play those songs. Or you could type the first few letter and it will jump to that letter in your playlist, but you can see how that is not as powerful as typing the middle of the song, or one word in the title.

I use WinAmp 5, and will continue to use WinAmp 5. Plus, it has MilkDrop , the coolest visualization plug-in ever.

iTunes visualizations are really good but I can’t compare to that since I haven’t used it.

Winamp all the way!

I would use iTunes…if I had an iPod.  I don’t know…just iTunes looks so appealing, but I would feel so forlorn.  After all, the purpose of the program was for the iPod player.  Argh!

LOL ME TOO 😛 I love my Winamp 2.8. It has so many wonderful skins!! The only thing I dun like about it is how they keep leaving me a message about how versions 3.0 to 5.0 have “serious security flaws” or something and how we should upgrade to 5.5 or whatever the newest version is, and I am like, “Ummmmmmm, I have 2.8…..... mine doesn’t have da security flaw =\”

Do you know how to turn off the upgrade notification thingies for Winamp 2.8?
