Congrats.  They are a scam but you got really lucky.  Thet DQ’d me for no reason and refuse to contact me about it.  Does anyone have a phone number for this company?

I got mine too! I made another post at another forum so I’ll just copy and paste here:

Before I start I have to say this:

Before I came home I was reading the local newspaper at a Sushi restaurant near the university I go to. I was looking at my horoscope and it said:

Experience hours of delicious rapture relishing an expensive new possession or embracing a special someone

and while I read that I made a joke in my mind what if I get that free iPod nano today and I can’t believe it came true

If you all don’t remember, in mid September I heard about this promotion a site called http://glam.com was doing where if you take a quiz and refer 10 friends to do the quiz you would qualify to receive an iPod nano. There was no credit card information required or no need to sign up for any trials like other iPod nano sites. I remember asking people on LD to help me out so a BIG THANKS TO THOSE ON LD who helped me!

At first I was hesitant and I did some research and saw that a lot of people have been scammed by this company but I figured it was free so why not.

I was lucky enough to be one of the first people to complete the requirements before they changed it to having to spend $100 at the site.

I was starting to lose hope when other people who did this offer received the letter of disqualification saying they broke the rules. I never got that dreaded letter though so there was still hope for me.

I emailed the company a few times asking about the iPod and it’s shipment and first they said late November then they said early December then they said late December and then they said first week of January 2006 lmao and I seriously was going to e-mail today asking about the iPod when I came home and saw my daddy left my mail in my room and I saw the package and I was like OMG and I opened it and there was a box for an iPod nano in it! YESSSSSS and I didn’t spend one dime on it!

Here’s a proof picture:

I got this email today:

Hello,

Due to the high demand and quick processing or orders, we inadvertently sent you the nano iPod instead of your requested $250 Shopping spree.

If you still want the $250 Shopping spree, please return the nano iPod and we will send you the $250 Shopping spree card.

We apologize for this inconvenience.

Customer service

Since you guys live close to the warehouse you got yours first.

I see it says USPS Priority, so hopefully I will get mine most likely Tuesday, Wednesday the latest since I am in NY.

I’m going to give it to my sister when I get it.
I promised her an iPod a long while ago.
She’ll appreciate it.

the cost of a lawyer would be way more than a nano.

Got mine today.

When my brother-in-law collected the mail I saw a padded envelope in his hand and he was like “we know who this is for,” cause I have been ordering a bunch of stuff lately.

I then said - Oh that’s for my sister, his wife. He was like “The iPod” and I was like yep. We opened it, haha, then I went to give it to her, she was like “Alright! Yes, it finally came”.

So I am glad that she is happy, and stuck through these months patiently.

The only problem is that engraving on Glam.com in the back of the Nano is huge.

I will post pictures when my brother in law comes back from the barber and lends me his camera, which is in his car.

How? I think that anyone who did it legitly did not have a problem, anyone who might have used 2 emails, or anyone who referred themselves probably got the boot. Maybe im saying this just because I got mine, but i don’t see why i didnt get disqualified and some people did. My friend who joined late and spent the $100 dollars on their shop in order to get the ipod is still waiting for his, lets see if his comes..
