How do you get references from people?

I mean do you ask them politely?

Do you AIM them?

Pm them?

E-Mail them?

Stalk them until they give in?

I mean its harder than dying and thats really not that bad. (ok maybe over stressing it)

call them & ask them nicely if they’ll do it.  most people are nice & will give you a good referal.
