WHY?  it’s funny to post when drunk—you have to scramble through the threads in the morning and try and figure out what you said.

I’ve been there before.

I don’t drink too much beer—I’m mostly a liquor person…I go out and do ‘irish carbombs’ until I can’t walk anymore

But when I am drinking beer, I definately prefer the imports

Beer is happiness.
Imports are good, but you can’t deny good ole American micros like Fat Tire, or anything from Stone Brewing.

fat tire is pretty good. If you’re in texas, try a shiner bock, its my fave, made in a lil city called: shiner. I’m not sure if they have it anywhere out of texas, but its good stuff.

You can get shiner bock outside of Texas.

I like a good Amber Bock, but I’m also a liquor person. Give me gin or vodka any day. Jack and Coke, Rum and Coke, Gin and juice. Straight up, shots, its a much better way to get drunk. More expensive if you’re doing this at bars, but more fun when you’re buying from the liquor store.

Hahaha,   I literally “LOL"ed on that one, and that’s not very often with me. Gin to me tastes like rubbing alcohol and pine needles… I prefer the taste of vodka.

Shiner is good stuff.  I spent a couple summers in Dallas/Austin and developed a taster fer it.  Its a good thing I know a few bars in the DC area that have it on tap.  Shiner’s Hefeweizen is pretty gud as well.

We need a drool smiley.

If’n were gonna talk about liquor in a beer thread, I’ll just have to set everyone straight.
Tequila, Whiskey, Scotch.
These three will keep you sane.  Add some jager when your feeling sick.
JD and Jose most of the time, but when I get rich *cough* I’ll be a Petron, 25 year old single malt kinda guy.

Ok, I have friends that say the Jager when you feel sick is the way to go.  Why is that?  just because it is thick and can coat your throat nicely?  or is there some other medicinal qualities in Jager.

I agree. Jack is great. I don’t normally drink tequila, but a Patron is very very smooth. But it is godawful expensive.
