Blow the crappy Apple buds and get some ones like the Sony MDR-EX71SL in amazon.com for 30 bucks. Those rock!

I also want to get the Aiwa SC-DP300 Speaker . These speakers are great looking, slim, stylish! I bought them for a gift and now want a pair for myself!

These are about the size of a paperback and have decent sound. Bass lacks a bit, but that’s to be expected in a tiny speaker set. I truely love it

I went to the Apple store today to see if they had the new iSkins but they don’t have them yet.  Hopefully in a few days.  However, I still need to get my iPod…

[quote author=“DougKaplan”]I am going to buy:

- iTrip
- Pink case for the 4G iPod if they make a pink the same shade as the mini pink

I figure spending $50 on the iPod isnt bad since i’m getting the actual Pod for free

What are you all buying with your iPod?

I bought an iTrip a week ago…i hate it with a passion. On NONE of the freq. can I get a somewhat clear signal. I have no cassette player so its a must. I had an old FM transmitter before….uses batteries, but it actually worked. On the iTrip site they claim to have the best. HA. Taking it back tomorrow. DON"T BUY IT. Buy one from belkin. I’m serious. It’s a pain, but it works (sounds just as good as a cassette adapter would (better)).

I just ordered the “Ghost” iSkin (the white, glow in the dark one), and I’m still deciding on a method of getting the tunes to my car stereo.  I need to pull my head unit out and see if there is ANY way to run a direct cable, otherwise I’ll probably try the iTrip.  Or I could just get a new head unit with a input on the front.  :o   Would sorta defeat the whole “Free iPod” thing, wouldn’t it?  wink

You realize that you can’t just plug your iPod into the wires going to the speakers….you need an amp (which is in another CD player)

Ummm, yeah.  Thanks, but I’m not a complete moron!  I just need to see if my car stereo (which I installed) has inputs (like those for a trunk CD changer) that I could tap in to.  You have to understand that I am an old school nerd and have used a soldering iron in the last two weeks.  8|

Sorry…just didn’t want you to be disappointed when trying out what I thought you meant.

Got mine in white Sony MDR-EX71 from igearbox.com. These earphones are a perfect match to my white iPod. They are small and versatile. These earphones are cheap, reliable, and a great buy. :D

I got a different case for the iPod because waiting for the iSkins to get in stock is like waiting for Jesus to come back, you might think its gonna happen but in reality, dont hold your breath.

I forgot the name but its all clear rubber with grips on the side, access to the wheel, access to the top jacks and dock connector, air holes in the back, and a protective screen (very important)
