Nintendo has stated that they’re going to create a gaming library for everyone.. So I think the revolution will have some good games on it..

Like this new controller will be pretty sick for games like Zelda I bet but I like to play baseball and Madden too.  I don’t want to have to buy another controller for that but I think the point is that Nintendo is going for DDR and Zelda people, not me :(

You play Madden using the shell that Nintendo is working on, but has not yet revealed.

Nintendo has not yet released official imagery of what the controller shell might look like. However, we’ve created a mock-up (above) based on what we know of its functionality. The real controller shell is likely to connect to the free-hand-style pointer in a very similar fashion. Please note that we realize our model is not entirely to scale, but this is the best we could do on short notice.

Imagine 4 people playing with those controllers, wouldn’t it look so retarded?

How the hell can you play Madden on those things?

Actually, this block of text mentions Madden:

This add-on makes it possible to play Revolution games in a more traditional manner. The shell is designed to look and function like accepted “regular” controllers, such as the Wave Bird. After its bottom casing is removed, the Revolution’s free-hand-style remote is inserted into a gap in the middle of the controller shell. Gamers can then use the shell as they would a traditional controller, with a notable difference: the pointer remote’s sensory functionality remains active. As a result, gamers get the best of both worlds: more buttons and two analog sticks along with motion-sensing operations. In a Revolution version of Madden Football, gamers might be able to use the combo to control players with the shell’s analog sticks and execute pinpoint passes with the pointer’s improved accuracy.

Oh - and you gotta check out this video:

Nintendo sucks now, I bought a gamecube and I think I used it like 10-15 times, then I got sick of the one game, cause all the games for gamecube is pokeman an sh!t, they need to get games where u kill and lots of action… u kno, big selling games like halo, gta, console selling games.

You’re young aren’t you, like 13-15? Yeah, games aren’t all about killing. Mario, Pikmin, Metroid, even Super Monkey Ball all are very fun games to play for Gamecube. I hate when people say Gamecube is childish, because most kids want to play PS2 and Xbox. Revoultion is going to be great, read the reviews from the people who’ve used the controller.

Oh I think they are.. I mean yes, I play other games as well, but for the most part the top selling games are action games that involve killing. Yes, mario used to sell a lot… but that was when nintendo monopolized the console industry and there was no competition around (not including jaguar an that stuff cause they really dont count) but now that sony came into things and then microsoft, nintendo is really going downhill because of its games that most think are for children. Its obvious, u cant deny it.. look at gamecube sales compared to that of xbox and ps2….. As for the revolution, I personally dont know much about it, so maybe they will come back with this one.

It looks pretty cool, except that it looks retarded using it because theres 2 seperate things. Now its going to be even harder to be on the computer and play a video game at the same time

Who knows… they might change their idea. It’s like when someone posted a picture of the gamecube before it came out, and the actual one was very different.

Wait, if you have the analog stick thing in one hand and the remote in the other… The remote is supposed to move the player in the game when u move the remote. So then whats the point of the analog stick?

I’m so sick of this discussion on how the revolution will suck based on this controller.  Have you play it? The answer is no.  Have you seen anyone play an actual game? No.  The fate of the revolution is yet TBD, but i’ll tell you one thing, Nintendo is starting to branch themselves out.  Whether that is good or bad is yet to be seen.

Good Point, we should all wait until it actually comes out before we judge it.
