When downloading updates for games (such as v1.05 for LBP, or 1.04 for GTAIV) this message appears:

“An Error Occured in Download”

usually after about 1%. I am still online (all works perfectly there), and it has never happened before.

Any ideas on what the problem or help would eb greatly appreciated.

Downloading from the PS Store seems to be working fine too, there was a firmware update 2.53 i think which added flash and messed up a mates ps3 recently.if the shop works then try the updat again, try reinstalling the game, yuor issue has no obvious cause so thats why i suggest the generic rule of thumb things to try.
