These cars are run by electric and you plug them in to charge, however if you run out of juice there is a backup generator run by gasoline so that you dont get stalled. Wonder how much it would take to charge and if the electric bill will be high. Good idea if it wont be that bad, wont have to pay so much for gas. These cars (Volt) are due to come out in 2010.
