I just thought it would be really neat to maybe implement some sort of points auction system.
For instance, you can have maybe some of those cheap $30-$50 to buy for like 5000 points or something but then have weekly/monthly auctions for a bigger prize say things like MP3 players and such!

Like a weekly auction for a Cell Phone like a Sony Ericsson you guys got your hands on. Highest bidder wins kind of deal. Would give people more inventive to post!

Another good idea…it would definitely create more active users and more participation on the site.

I swear its not a suggestion just cause I have 12000 points floating around haha!

Or maybe for the gearlive store be able to cash in your points for something you want on there. At the same time it also makes for good advertising, like if someone gets a hat or shirt, was just an idea. Might even get more people to join the site to. I like gohan_bcc1 suggestion to, that sounds like it would be alot of fun to.

Thats a good idea too. It would be nice to be able to use your points to purchase items through the GearLive store.

Also maybe reward those that report spammers with a few points here and there..like say if someone reports 10 spam posts they get 5 points or something like that.
