I heard a little bit about referring to your friends on this site. I think it’ll be a good idea to add this feature and it’ll even help the site out as well.

The urls would look like this: gearlive.com/mem/ref/18079 or something a bit similar. Everytime someone signs up after referral, you get 10 points. You get 1 point for each 10 posts a referred user posts. You may also launch a system that detects fraud too.
