Do any one have piercings or tats on your body, i have one on my year.
I had it from 3 years,
I know it is difficult to make them on your body,
Many people from difficult think thats its religious and many people do it for fashion, i am a person who done it related too religios thing.
I have my ears pierced but that’s about it, I don’t plan on getting any more piercings in the future. As for tattoos, I am amazed at them and well, I always think about getting a tattoo in the next few years or so. However, there is a line between “thinking” and “actually doing it.” I think about getting one a lot, but will I? Probably not, unless it is something that I truly hold close to my heart and would love to have it be something permanent on my body. I do love watching those tattooing shows on TV, like Miami Ink, which do show gorgeous and stunning tattoos.
I have two holes in each ear and would love to get a tattoo but my husband would not be happy if I did. He believes that God did not intend for our bodies to have it imprinted permanently. I feel different it is my body and if I want to get a tattoo (which some day I will) than I will.
I think the thing with tattoos is to make sure that if you do get it, make sure you do not regret it. I don’t know why some people would tattoo someone’s name to their body after meeting the person for a couple of months. That is just plain weird and well, I sure would not do that. I think tattoos have evolved to something more acceptable in society, such as if we see someone with a tattoo, we won’t associate them as a “gang member” or a “punk.” There are many reasons to get a tattoo that I’ve seen and heard from a lot of people I have met. A woman I met in one of my university options had a tattoo of the pink ribbon, the symbol for breast cancer awareness, on the inside of her wrist. It was absolutely gorgeous and she told me a long and emotional story about why she got it and the reason. It was an amazing story and I think her and that tattoo will always be in my mind.

well the way i see it i dont think any form of public display should be gauged on the rest of societies acceptance. i dont know about you but even if they did look at it as a sign of a punk or gang member,
if i wanted a tattoo i would still get one!
I actually wrote a whole essay on the evolution of tattoos for one of my anthropology courses about a year ago and well, it was interesting to see how tattoos have grown to be more acceptable in society due to the media. I do know what you mean though sharkhead7854, a lot of people want to get a tattoo because it is something that a lot of people are interested in getting and although I know many won’t tattoo their entire body, I think a little tattoo would be quite nice too for a lot of people.
i probably wouldnt get my whole body, but in some cases i think sleeves look cool =D
the only thing is the problem about the inking wearing out after time, you cant even tell what my stepfathers vietnam tattoo is- i think its the tasmanian devil or something
Well, I’m a guy and don’t have any piercings and don’t really plan on getting any—just not my style. As for tattoos, I have never really given it much though—I do not see a point for them personally. If it is a small tattoo, that is not a huge deal, but if you have a lot of tattoos, it is a big turn off for me. I have no problem with people getting tattoos or piercings though, its your body and you can do whatever you want to it.
You have to watch out though if you’re going into a medical profession or any business setting. Make sure you get it in a place that can be covered up, because I know of this one person who bent over to get something, her shirt was slightly up revealing a small tattoo on her back, and then patients who found out started requesting they not have her. As a result she has to wear a shirt to work everyday that will be long enough to cover it when bending over. This same idea and stereotype of tattoos occurs in business, so make sure you completely think this through!
