Do you think that all online business that claim they are 100% safe really safe? I dont think any one online is safe, if someone wants something badly enough they will get it. And if they want to break into something online they will just because they can. This is why I dont do my shopping online. Although I have seen sites that say they are 100% safe, this is not true for no one!!

Well, I am wary of the 100% safe logos as well, but I think for all intensive purposes that they are safe to use if they are respected sites like Amazon.com and Half.com (I wouldnt trust eBay though…)  The problems occur less with the transaction itself but what is done with the data afterwards.  Often when you hear of peoples identities being stolen, it is either because they have visited a malicious site, they have malware reporting back all their keystrokes, or someone at the company steals the data internally, or someone breaches the servers externally.  As far as the point of transaction, I think we can be safe to assume its safe because there is heavy encryption.

Are these the businesses that are on weird, looking websites full of flashing ads and “customer testimonials?” Haha, if so, I don’t really think they’re safe and well, I would make sure I looked up all the contact information and that I searched on Google about that business for other people’s opinions. For shopping online, I have done all my shopping online from Amazon. I know that some people are scared about safety when it comes to online shopping, but just make sure that the site is well-known, secure and a respectable company like Amazon. I know my parents never and will not ever shop online because they are scared of the safety and “using a credit card online” and everything, but nowadays, online shopping is more safer and easier to lots of people. It just depends on the site you do your online shopping on.
