A lot of conversations are being lumped into the Lounge since it seems to be the place everyone is hanging out these days.  However, I think there should be the addition of two new sections (at least) to Gear Live:

1) Politics
2) Current Events

These are two major items which can be debated and discussed and which have real relevance when they are ongoing.  However, neither of these really have a home (for current events I am referring to non-tech related current events).  Does anyone else think there should be the addition of at least these two sections?

Yeah good idea but i don’t think anyone is here to listen us Buck.

Not a bad idea. Although maybe a Debate forum would be even better heh.
Nothing wrong with a good debate over any sorts of issues via political or just a daily life situation.
Like that clothing debate for instance. Could have been more active if it had a forum heh.
But I’m not quite sure how up to key people are with current events and such. You never know though,

I dont think itd become too “violent” at all—we had a nice friendly debate over brand name clothing and I dont think we have had any “hostile” debate to date.  If I want to debate something, it would be nice to have a whole section that is built for that, which will lessen the burden on the other sections such as The Lounge

Actually i was saying that at the time of the contest things can go wrong in those threads.in normal days, there shouldn’t be any problem.

I would like a section titled “How did they do that?”  Where people could email in questions and perhaps a link if possible on what they want to know.  Many times I will go on a web site and like their web site design and wonder how did they do that.  As well as other software programs offer so much and many times I don’t use the software to its fullest and I truly believe it is because I never knew it could do that.

Nice idea buddy.Lots of suggestions are being posted everywhere.i hope they will look into these matters so that we all can build up a better community.
