I may be atheist, but I still celebrate Christmas as a secular holiday—probably tradition because my family recognizes it as well… but I still think it is a great time of a year (especially since it is such a huge boost to our economy!)
I celebrate Christmas. It’s both a very spiritual and family oriented holiday. However, like the media always covers come Christmas time, everyone is forgetting the real meaning of it. The presents and big spending are not it.
point made, i like christmas because everyone in my family is together for the whole day
and seeing how screwed up my family is, that means something XD
but suprisingly yes the media does 1 thing right, christmas
on the news here they actually try to emphasize the whole point of christmas
while all the stores are trying to yank you in
i also notice there are more credit card commercials that come on in december….
I celebrate Christmas because it truly is the time when I spend with all my friends and family. I love everything about Christmas…from the snow, snow angels and decorations and even the Christmas carols. I love listening to Christmas songs during Christmas.
actually im kinda suprised too!
@jess1ca, ur lucky, on christmas i used to have snow till i moved to florida
another reason why i hate it here :\
all the adults complain about snow because they have to shovel their car out,
but all the kids see it differently

I heard a lot of people hat Florida. I have many family member down there, but I don’t want to move there because I don’t really see a future there. When it’s cold out, many of my family member complain about artithis and sicknesses they can’t get rid of until like the end of the season.
yeah thats why people have a house up north and down south at the same time
the “snowbirds” as theyre called
they get to live in the cool states like new york and new jersey and them,
and when it gets too cold they come to their house here
lucky rich people….
I celebrate nothing,on a side note since everyone here seems to be into christmas,i once read that bible mention’s that jesus was born in spring time,so why is his b’day celebrated in winter?

Wait, are you confused with Easter? Because Easter is when Jesus died or either comes back from the dead or something like that.
Not talking about his death, christmas is jesus’s b’day ,right, but bible mentions when jesus was born there was spring weather.
i am not entirely sure about this, but i did read it somewhere.
(Technicall there would be spring in the opposite hemisphere, anyways)
