VH1’s Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew has been getting a lot of flak from the media and recovering addicts. But the whole point of the show is to display the inner workings of addiction recovery, right? Is it okay to show what rehab is really like, or do the TV cameras take away from the seriousness of the situation?

It still hurts to think you didn’t see how many people she touched that night. ... What I saw was hard work and determination, great dance moves, catchy lyrics, and positive songs”
