Ok so Im curious as to who on the forums has a DS or a PSP.  We are always talking about 360/Ps3 gaming, but the handhelds are so undervalued it seems.  I own both systems and if you dont have one or the other, im here to convince you that you are SO missing out.  The only disadvantage is that there are no achievement points - but If sony ever rolls out home, then ill have more time to waste on my psp.  I want to push 1 particular game though.

PSP:

Disgaea: Ok if you have never played a Nipon Ichi game (did i get that right?) then you are in for a treat.  These games are pretty much a cross between “gladius” (turn-based board game like play aka FF Tactics) and pokemon (collect you enemies).  The story is good, great sense of humor, and 50+ hours of play (or 100’s if you want to really dive into it).  This game and it sequel, along with LaPucelle Tactics and Phantom Brave are the company’s collection of amazingly addictive ps2 (and now psp) games.
tty good.

Have Both.

Use the DS a LOT more than the PSP.

Both are very good at what they do.

Hah, same here. It’s served me well. At least it did untill I lost all my games for it and I’ve only got Game and Watch and a Fire Emblem.

DS and PSP are about tied for my attention. I probably won’t get either untill the PSP2 or some kind of triple screen monstrosity appears from Nintendo.

I sold my GBA SP and DS Lite last month to buy a camcorder.  I never used the things so, couldn’t see the point me keeping them.

Ironically; I haven’t used the camcorder either.

Yeah, I really want a DS Lite, but I fear that the next Nintendo handheld is just around the corner, now….
