GAL is about consoles? oops..

It was a diffrent change of pace episode.  The PC stuff was okay but way over my head.  I had the greatest system ever, Commodore 64,  and was still a pc player up until I got to college in 97.  As I was listening to the pen and paper discussion I only had one thought.

I loved the hell out of my C64, some of my fondest gaming memories are from that system.  Then I had my Amiga which I much loved too.

Nice to see you touching on some basic aspects of PC Hardware/general PC talk (had never heard of the blackbird).  I liked what the co-host added, for me it was an above average show in terms of GAL podcasts because of the content. (dont own an xbox* or ps*)

btw: If anyones thinking of getting a 8800GTS, I would wait on the 8800GT on Nov 15th as an alternative with pretty near GTX performance at most resolutions, esp with an overclock. 

[edit] The UK office was genius, the US one seemed kind of heavy handed, artificial and stilted in season 1 in my eyes ;p

It sounds to me that Canada is just trying to stay competitive, and yet the UK wants to put their heals to your economic ballz.

If your a pro gamer, then why the hell would you need training lessons. ROFLAO!!!

Y’know I never knew about that. I’m certainly glad to hear that EA doesn’t have to suffer the agonizing loss of funds by paying, god forbid, employees. I just read the EA Spouse thing a couple days ago…

I loved the random talk about bored games in the middle ... Listened too it while playing Counter Strike lol.
